This year we will explore topics in American history from the Iroquois to industrialization and immigration. What you will discover is an incredible story of freedom, overcoming obstacles, and perseverance.
Each chapter in that story contains many memorable real-life characters who helped shape the idea that is America.
Our goal will be to think like historians while analyzing primary source documents and be able to understand the context of the time periods we are studying. We will not just be learning American history. We will be learning its lessons, and about ourselves
